Chemical Manufacturing
Our next chapter. Domestic manufacturing of agricultural and industrial chemicals is a central part of Pillar-Star’s long-term growth plan.
This is a future division. Pillar-Star does not yet manufacture chemicals. This page sets out what we plan to build, why it matters, and the partners we need to get there.

Made-in-Nigeria inputs for farms and factories
Nigeria relies heavily on imported agricultural chemicals. Our plan is to produce competitively priced domestic alternatives, along with industrial cleaning compounds and inputs for soap, detergent and personal care.
The division will complete Pillar-Star’s integrated model: our own farms will use its fertilisers, and by-products from our palm oil processing will feed its soap and oleochemical lines.

- Fertilisers and soil conditioners
- Crop protection inputs
- Industrial cleaning compounds
- Soap, detergent and personal care inputs
- Agribusiness SMEs
- Hospitals
- Food manufacturers
- FMCG producers
A bigger goal, built on what we already do
Import substitution
Local production of inputs that Nigerian farms and manufacturers currently import, at competitive prices.
Backward integration
Palm processing by-products become raw materials, and our own farms become our first customer.
Export potential
Agricultural inputs and industrial chemicals are categories with preferential access under AfCFTA.
What it will take to get there
- 1
Feasibility
Confirm product priorities, market demand and plant design.
- 2
Technical partners
Secure process technology and equipment partners.
- 3
Financing
Raise project finance from development finance institutions and investors.
- 4
Approvals & build
Obtain regulatory approvals, then build and commission the plant.
