Udom Elijah is an entrepreneur and civil engineering professional with more than a decade of experience in infrastructure development, construction project management and multi-sector industrial enterprise. As founder of Pillar-Star Industries Limited, he brings technical discipline and systems-level thinking to an enterprise built on the conviction that Africa’s natural resources must be harnessed industrially to serve and uplift African people.

He also runs an independent civil engineering consultancy providing advisory and project execution across construction, roads and industrial infrastructure. That capability gives Pillar-Star an in-house advantage in designing and building its own processing facilities, with a direct effect on capital expenditure.

As Managing Director, he sets the company’s strategic direction, oversees capital allocation and operations, drives institutional partnerships, and leads engagement with regulators, development finance institutions and investors. His leadership rests on three pillars: technical excellence, community impact and long-term industrial sustainability.
